Booking request terms
CREATE is a trading name of TornBox Ltd, in partnership with Studio 209 Technical Facilities and Islington Mill.
This page is an operational starting point and should be reviewed before the system is opened to the public.
Requests and confirmation
Some eligible bookings may be confirmed automatically when the selected use, add-ons, notice period and availability rules permit it. All other submissions are requests only and are confirmed when CREATE accepts them in writing and any required deposit has been paid.
Security
Security can be provided through CREATE if requested or if we determine that it is required for an event. Security requirements are assessed case by case and additional costs may apply. If you already have your own proposed security arrangements, tell us and we will confirm whether they are suitable.
CREATE may require security as a condition of an event proceeding. Where security is provided through CREATE, the hirer will be told about any additional charge before confirmation. Any security arrangements proposed by the hirer must be agreed by CREATE and use appropriately licensed personnel where required.
Event information
The hirer must provide accurate information about attendance, activities, ticketing, alcohol, technical requirements and any relevant risks. Material changes must be agreed in advance.
Licensing and permissions
The hirer is responsible for identifying and obtaining permissions, licences or consents specifically required by their event unless CREATE confirms otherwise in writing.
Damage, conduct and cleaning
The hirer is responsible for the conduct of guests and for avoidable damage or additional cleaning caused by the event.
Cancellation and payment
Deposit, balance and cancellation terms will be supplied with the booking confirmation and must be accepted before the event proceeds.
